Which devices does Packerly run on?

iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. It's one universal app, so a single purchase covers all of them. The Mac app is a real Mac app, with a sidebar, menu commands and keyboard shortcuts, and the Watch app works on its own as a checklist, with complications for your watch face. Packerly needs iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26 or watchOS 26.

Do I need an account? How does sync work?

There's no Packerly account to make. Your trips sync through your own iCloud private database, so they stay in your iCloud account rather than on a server of ours. Packerly also works offline: pack on the plane, and sync catches up when you're back online.

What does Packerly AI see?

Nothing until you agree. Packerly AI asks for your consent first, then sends only the trip details a feature needs, such as the destination, dates and list. Voice input is recognised on your device. Snap to Pack uses cloud AI to identify what's in your photo, so it's covered by the same consent. Your data is never sold and never used to train models, and there are no ads or tracking in the app. Crash reports go to Sentry only to fix crashes, carry no trip data, and can be turned off in Settings. Whatever the AI suggests merges with your list; it never replaces your own edits.

What's free?

One active trip at a time, with the whole app: lists, bags, shopping, Pack Mode and reminders, and no limit on items or categories. Archived trips don't count, so you can keep your history. Widgets, the Apple Watch app and complications are free for good. You also get Packerly AI to try: 12 actions in the first month you use it, then 5 every calendar month. Each Conjure, Generate, Snap to Pack, Copilot exchange, One-Paste, outfit plan or Packing Review uses one action. Packerly+ adds unlimited trips and unlimited AI.

How do the free trial and cancelling work?

New subscribers can try Packerly+ free for 7 days. After that it renews automatically at $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year in the US; the App Store shows the price where you are. To stop it, cancel at least 24 hours before renewal in your App Store account settings. Billing is handled by Apple. If you cancel, your trips stay on your devices and you're back on the free plan.

Are the airline bag allowances exact?

They're guides. Pick your carrier and each bag shows that airline's published allowance, for 34 airlines, labelled as a guide with the date it was last checked. Allowances change and depend on your fare, so check your booking before you fly.

Is it safe to keep travel documents in Packerly?

Packerly keeps just enough to remind you before a passport, visa or ID expires. It stores only the last 4 digits of a document number and never a scan, and your documents are never sent to Packerly AI.

Which languages and accessibility features does it support?

Packerly speaks English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Portuguese and Chinese. It supports VoiceOver, Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion, with touch targets of at least 44 points.

Where can I download Packerly?

On the App Store for iPhone and iPad, with the Apple Watch app included, and on the Mac App Store. It's free to download, and one purchase covers every device.

Managing your subscription

On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Packerly.
On Mac, open the App Store, click your name, then Account Settings, and manage subscriptions there.
Packerly+ starts with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid being charged.
If you cancel, your trips stay on your devices and you’re back on the free plan.

Privacy and what the AI sees

Your trips live on your devices and in your own iCloud. There’s no Packerly account. Packerly AI runs only when you agree to it, and only with the trip details that feature needs. Suggestions are added to your list; they never replace your edits.
